Short Bio Organization
Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) is the Catalan Cluster of the sustainable use of water.CWP was launched in 2008, as a non profit strategic association business oriented, formed companies and research centres that work in sector of the sustainable use of water, which mission is to improve the competitiveness of its members.
CWP involves consultancies, centres of knowledge, equipment manufacturers and other entities involved in the water cycle and in the solutions for the sustainable use of water.The CWP promotes projects and multilevel collaborations, for developing innovative & sustainable solutions to the global water needs, in any part of the word.
CWP works from an innovative approach and with an international vision. Thus, is continuously looking for establishing strategic alliances with companies and centres of knowledge from any part of the world, in order to identify opportunities that bring us together to a worldwide advanced position in the global market.
CWP is member of the Catalonia Clusters program of the Generalitat of Catalunya, is recognized as Agrupación Empresarial Innovador (AEI) by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism and has de bronze label of the European Cluster Management Excellence.
Relation with HYDROUSA
The CWP will mainly contribute to the transferability (WP7), communication and
dissemination (WP9) work packages of the Hydrousa Project by:
- Participation at the replication assessment task, focusing at the methodology and
replication process of HYDROUSA water loops assessed in Spain and Portugal. - CWP will contribute to the overall activities of communication and dissemination
shared by other partners in promoting the project, as well as, in the organization
of a seminar in Catalonia.
