During the visits by local schools (Eressos secondary and Petra’s, Agra’s high schools) in Antissa village, more than 140 students were involved. An exciting and engaging component aiming at empowering students to actively participate in the HYDROUSA Project’s objectives. As part of these workshops, students were encouraged to observe and photograph animal or plant species as key performance indicators of the enriched biodiversity. How is this new system emerging, increasing the ownership and the education of those solutions. These hands-on activities were strategically designed as co-creation initiatives in alignment with HYDROUSA’s objectives (T9.6) and were delivered by the local NTUA team, creating a collage of all the different plant species of the area, as a reference point for the diversity that was enriched.
