Representatives of the project coordinator National Technical University of Athens along with key actors from the Municipality of Western Lesvos, the Water Utility of Lesvos and the University of the Aegean, and other technological partners will guide us through the project’s vision, actions and the technology innovations with the moderation of Impact Hub Athens.
This last webinar of our 2021 series revolves around HYDROUSA applications on the island of Lesvos, following a completely circular solution in the village of Antissa.
The applications consist of a sewage treatment system combining anaerobic processes with constructed wetlands and disinfection to treat domestic wastewater (HYDRO1) & a rich agroforestry system (HYDRO 2) using reclaimed water with a high nutrient content (treated by HYDRO1) aiming to increase diversity, productivity & profitability!
