HYDROUSA project was presented at VICE due to the water crisis in Greece and the desertification of many Mediterranean land areas.
The business model to be developed in the HYDROUSA project, based on the principles of circular economy, was presented.
More specifically, the whole concept of the project was presented, focusing on the pilot systems that will develop in three Greek islands (Mykonos, Tinos Lesvos) for the treatment of unconventional water sources, the subsequent production of goods, materials and energy
and their relocation back to the local community-local market.
